In Summer season is pleasant not very hot in temperature, Winter season starts from October to February & Monsoon season starts from July to September which is very beautiful.
Places to Visit
KATHGODAM-: Kathgodam stands for Timber Depot. Kathgodam is a railway station for most tourists travelers & most popular destination which is surrounded by hills and with Himalayas views. Its distance from Haldwani to Kathgodam is 8 km.
GAULA DAM -: Gaula Dam is one of the famous places in Haldwani which provides you several scene spots for picnic. Gaula River originates somewhere in the lesser HIMALAYAS. It eventually join the Ram Ganga River that goes on to become a tributary ti the Holy Ganga.

SHEETALA DEVI TEMPLE-: Sheetala Devi Temple is Durga Temple is one of the popular tourist lace near Haldwani. It is located on a small hill which is easy to climb over there . There is no entry fee for visit . This temple is surrounded by the Mountains & woods all around .
JEOLIKOT-: Jeolikot is about 23 km away from Haldwani. JEOLIKOT is a small village and one of the best place to visit in & around HALDWANI. There is a Wonderful Victorian Era Cottage where you can at night .
NAUKUCHIATAL-: Naukuchiatal is the lake of nine corners .This is the charming hills station & sightseeing place near HALDWANI. This lake is set among hills & offers a beautiful peek into the Himalayas of the Kumaon.
BHIMTAL LAKE– Bhimtal Lake is around 15 km from Haldwani & bigger than Naukuchiatal. This is the largest lake in Kumaon tourist used to come and visit Bhimtal Lake.
HIDIMBA PARVAT-: Hidimba Parvat is around 5 km from Bhimtal. Hidimba Parvat is good for climbing & trekking but those people whose heart & respiratory issues is not suitable for them IN. You can see gorgeous view of hills.
